Kids' dreams can 'inspire creative play'

Understanding children's dreams can help parents to develop kids play ideas and other projects, according to a leading dreams expert.
In an article for the Sun, Dr Pam Spurr claimed that children's dreams are packed full of symbolism about kids' emotional lives.
She added that helping children to understand their dreams and nightmares can improve parent and child communication.
In her article, Dr Spurr said that she had hours of fun with her daughter making a fairy costume after she had a happy dream about a fairy.
Adventurous dream, such as climbing a big mountain, wall or ladder symbolises that children are excelling in some demand on them, such as new development skills.
Play England's Mick Conway recently told the BBC that indoor play equipment can help to encourage children to be creative, enabling them to incorporate them into their adventures.
He suggested that often equipment will have a dual purpose, which can boost kids play ideas.
