Bake fun and tasty cookies for Santa this year

Date: 23/12/2010 / Category: Kids party ideas

If Santa and his reindeers have had to put up with whatever leftovers you have in your kitchen for the past couple of Christmases, it may be time to put in some effort - you don't want to end up on the naughty list after all.

Disney's family.com has offered up some great ideas of Christmas cookies you and your kids can enjoy baking together for Santa.

One idea is to make Holiday Sugar Cookies - traditional cookies which you can cut out in festive shapes such as stars of Christmas trees – that are great for any sort of decoration such as coloured icing , glazes and sugar.

Ginger and Spice Snowflake cookies are another great idea and if you have any left they can be hung up as delicious ornaments.

Another option is to make some tasty orange cookies with chocolate chunks - you can get the kids to help you do the easy bits such as rolling them in sugar and flattening them with a glass.
